An elevating roof fitted in our Derby workshop adds standing room and a second double bed. Our T5–T6.1 package includes scenic canvas, a bi-fold roof bed and mattress, with a 5-year roof warranty and 2 years on our fitting. The elevating roof, moulded with a gloss black or white gel-coat finish and lifted on gas struts. Standing room the length of the van when it's up, and a bi-fold roof bed with a memory foam mattress upstairs — rated to 250kg, comfortable for two adults.

How much does a Transporter pop top cost?

For T5–T6.1 Transporters, the Cosmic Pop Top Package is £4,880 including VAT for a short wheelbase and £5,300 for a long wheelbase. That covers the roof, scenic canvas, bi-fold bed, mattress, lighting and fitting. New V710 models have a separate specification and quote. You’ll receive an itemised quote before committing.

How much does a Transporter pop top cost?

Which Transporters can you fit a pop top to?

We fit T5, T5.1, T6 and T6.1 Transporters in short or long wheelbase. We also fit a purpose-built pop top to the new V710 VW Transporter and Ford Transit Custom, with integrated framework and a bi-fold roof bed. Tell us your model, year and wheelbase so we can confirm the correct roof and package.

How much weight can the roof bed take?

Both the single and bi-fold roof beds comfortably sleep two adults, with a maximum load of 250kg.

Can you add a pop top to a van that's already converted?

In most cases, yes. We'll need to look at how the existing conversion meets the roof line before giving you a firm price, so send us a few photos with your enquiry.

Does the scenic canvas come as standard?

In our package, yes. If you'd rather have the standard canvas, it still has three windows and a front window that fully unzips, and the price comes down by £250.

What warranty do you offer?

The roof is covered by a 5-year manufacturer warranty and we cover our fitting for 2 years. If anything needs attention, you deal with us in Derby, not a call centre.
