I came across Cosmic Campers through a good friend and although a bit of a drive from where I live in Cheshire it was worth the travel.Throughout the whole experience the lads there were fantastic. They explained everything in detail, communicated with me throughout, sent photos of the progression and I left knowing how to use and with the pop top along with how to maintain it.I wouldnt take the van to anywhere else now.Great price, amazing quality and you get what you pay for.Thank youBri

OK - so these guys are GREAT! Exceptional customer service from quote (Matt e-mailing detailed schedule of work, then running through with me in detail on phone) to dropping van off (with regular pics/updates on progress) to collection - on time, on budget and a really thorough run through of what had been done and how everything works. I can't speak highly enough of them - genuine and really nice people. Will be back just as soon as bank account has recovered from pop top, diesel heater and swivel seat!

Recently had a wind out awning fitted and the service was brilliant. Really quick response to the initial enquiry with costs and timescale explained. Then the job was carried out perfectly and they were really helpful discussing other available options for my van. They even took the time to show me how to collapse my pop top correctly!!Because of the service, and real enthusiasm for work they do, I would definitely use them again and recommend to anyone. Quite important when you’re trusting them to drill holes in your £40K van!

After looking to have some work carried out on my VW Caravelle to turn it into a day van for weekends and short breaks. We came across these guys at Cosmic Campervans their reviews were excellent in fact too good to be true so after a bit more digging and then actually speaking to these guys I soon discovered and realise these reviews were actually spot-on their knowledge is unbelievable their work is even more unbelievable there attention to detail is spot on they listened to what I wanted they advised me when I needed it. I cannot praise these guys enough it’s such a pleasure experiencing dedicated people like these guys and they’re so friendly and that’s not because you might be spending some money with them these are genuine guys they cannot do enough for you there work is so good so when we decide to go for our new roof this is where we are coming thanks again guys so glad I found you.

What can I say about these guys! Absolutely first class service, workmanship and openness regarding difficulties faced due to the ongoing post covid supply chain issues. Cosmic did the first part of my conversion which included a STORM pop top with scenic canvas, 160w solar panel, diesel heater, full sound deadening, insulation and carpet lining, electrical system with hook up, window tinting, additional nearside window and offside dummy glass and Reimo rail! The work was absolutely first class and I couldn’t recommend them more highly! I travelled down from Yorkshire for these guys as Dario, Matt and his team come highly recommended and it shows in their work!! Definitely 11 out of 10 for Cosmic Campervans! Keep up the incredible work!!

We recently had a STORM Poptop fitted by the guys at Cosmic Campervans.Fantastic service, great communication, and photographic updates throughout the job.We went for the STORM roof after seeing great reviews. It’s been excellent so far, and to top it off it has a 5 yr warranty 👍🏼.Poptop roofs are not cheap (although these guys beat anyone else on price) so it’s nice to feel that you are being well looked after by these guys.Highly recommend.

From the first point of contact with the guys at cosmic campervans I knew these were the right people to do the work we wanted… Even more convinced once we went over to visit them…We had been to a few other converters but none had the customer service or attention to detail which Dario and Matt had demonstrated. Walking around the workshop we were introduced to the guys who do the cutting, building and installation.All the products were shown to us so you could see exactly what you’re getting and not just pictures…They explained step by step the process’s and stages of the relevant kit we were interested in..They had open and honest opinions and did nothing other than listen to our requirements and then made suggestions to help hone our best options.Quote received, deposit paid and booked in, our van went in on the scheduled date and the job was completed better than expected. They kept us informed and updated including pics and videos along the way, problem solving as they went (our van had already had some mods by someone else that were not great but the guys rectified).The van was spotless when it came to collection, Matt took us through all the controls and user methods required for the kit installed and was more than happy to go through things again if we had any questions.We had the storm pop top, colour coded, scenic canvas, bifold bed board, access hatch, planar heater, 250w solar, ctek charger and lithium battery installed, all of them are absolutely bang on, they guys had to move speakers and other elements of the existing install to carry out their work and nothing was too much trouble… excellent from start to finish and so refreshing to meet such a dedicated team who deliver quality products at very high standard….If you are considering a pop top or any campervan equipment, then you have to go see the CC team…. Outstanding and so glad we chose them. A++

From the moment we contacted Cosmic Campervans they have been very helpful. Matt has kept us updated on the progress of the parts and time it will take to convert the van. Before we dropped off the van, Matt went through all the services they offer and made suggestions of what we might require. He didn't try to oversell features or parts we wouldn't need. They were really happy to do what they call the 'messy' conversion part of the van and didn't judge us on the fact we want to try and do some of the conversion ourselves. We love the work they have done and it looks incredibly professional. We would highly recommend Cosmic Campervans to anyone who wants their van converted, they have perfect customer service and workmanship.

Having read many 5-star reviews of Cosmic Campervans, and after watching various videos demonstrating their work I felt confident I’d be in safe hands. Having a pop-top roof fitted is a major step for sure, something I was nervous about, but Dario took the time to carefully and fully answer my list of questions!! Upon dropping my T5 off with the team, I felt very much welcomed and put at ease. Matt kept me well informed of the progress throughout the week, sending several photos across to me that nicely document the van’s conversion. When I collected, Dario again took great pride and gave us a really thorough and professional handover. He took the time to make sure I was happy, and the quality of the craftsmanship is excellent. As a family we look forward to many many great adventures ahead with our new Storm pop-top, and a big thanks goes to Cosmic Campervans. I have just picked up my T5.1 from Cosmic Campervans where I trusted them to carry out a large portion of my camper conversion for me. Before booking in with cosmic, I got multiple quotes from other well-known companies, none of who came even close to the customer service I got from cosmic from day 1. Dario spent hours on the phone with me, even before I booked in giving me advice and help on multiple conversion topics and guiding me through the process. He listened and understood my needs and helped me tailor what I wanted to ensure we could utilise our van in the way we intended when complete (as a first-time van owner, this was gold dust!). He then went on to quote me for the work we, together had specified at a very competitive price. When my van went in to cosmic, I met the guys who would be carrying out the work, they were friendly, knowledgeable and gave me confidence that my van was in the right hands! Throughout the time my van was with cosmic, I got regular updates via phone and email from Matt who sent me photos of the build and ensured I was happy with the work they were doing. When it came to collecting my van, I had some logistical problems (due to borrowing a car from a family member while my van was away). Cosmic understood this and went above and beyond to help accommodate my awkwardness. The finished article was spectacular and the handover/explanation of how to work all of the electrical equipment was second to none, with the offer of support post collection being made clear too. I couldn’t be happier with the customer service or end product. I can’t rate these guys highly enough, if you are considering converting a van (or getting any other conversion related work done) don’t bother going anywhere else.A huge thanks to Dario, Matt, Roger and the rest of the team at Cosmic!

Having decided to having extras on our Campervan ( pop top conversion, diesel heater insulation and wind out awning ) and having reviewed other companies we decided to go with Cosmic Campervan’s, we were not disappointed. Their customer service was excellent we were kept updated several times in the week,we received photos each stage showing progress of the conversion.
Little extras like picking up and dropping off at local train station meant a lot. Even our gift from Cosmic Campervan’s was a lovely touch.

Had a diesel heater installed by cosmic campervans today the two young guys who installed it were absolutely brilliant, they explained everything did a fantastic job, nothing was to much troubleThe reason for only 4 stars is that I was not told that my van would require a low fuel level. As we were travelling approximately 170 miles each way I filled with fuel before we left the downside of this was they had to pump out just over 1/4 of a tank of dieselAnd had no way of putting it back in the tankAt approximately £1.48 a litre this was an expense that could have been avoided

A massive thank you to Dario and his team for transforming our t6.1 from a van to a camper ,we absolutely love it and cant wait to start making memories . We had a aurora roof fitted ,colour coded ,with a scenic canvas and bi fold bed , full carpeting &insulation,solar panel & 12v electrical system fitted under the drivers seat along with a diesel heater ,wow fantastic installation,RIB bed and a beautiful blue altro floor, all this work was professionally done with guidance and patience and nothing was too much trouble . We told Dario our story on our first meeting and two weeks later we got the van of our dreams, topped off with a surprise gift from him which touched us both ,thank you so much Dario. Just picked our van up from Cosmic Campervans after having a Skyline Aurora pop top fitted. The service we received from Dario and his team was exceptional from start to finish.Upon dropping our van in to them, Dario welcomed us and gave us a tour of their workshop and talked us through the work they would be carrying out to our van and answered any questions we had. Dario was good enough to send us some work in progress pictures of our van which were really good to see and added a personal touch.Upon collecting our van the quality of the roof and the workmanship was excellent. You could see that real care and attention had been put in to fitting the roof and the carpeted finish around the opening. Dario took his time to explain how to correctly put the roof up and down and answered any further questions we had.We would 100% recommend using Cosmic Campervans to anyone looking at getting a pop top fitted to their van.(I don't usually write reviews, however had to share how pleased we were with the service we received from Cosmic Campervans. Very helpful from the outset, had a call with then to discuss options and get advice. Absolutely amazing service. We were slotted in last minute thinking we would have to wait a week for the skyline roof to be fitted but because they knew we were due to be married next week and would have a busy week, they did everything they could to get it done in a couple of days. Drove 3 hours from the south to get to Derby and so glad we did. Super communication and they did such a high quality job. So pleased with it. Dario and his team fitted a Planar diesel heater and a 112 Rib bed into my van. They did an excellent job taking great care and working around all of the campervan furniture already installed. Had a diesel heater fitted last week and the service was great. Spent time listening to how I wanted things doing in relation to fitting controller and running cabling and Gary went out of his way to run the cable even better than I had wanted, which he needn’t have done, and took great pride in having done so. Fitted the vent where I wanted it, and did a great job. It’s nice to see a place where the staff have pride in the work they put out.
Also, spotted and fixed an issue left behind by VW van centre the week before, which saved a disaster (they’d not tightened the prop shaft back up after fitting clutch!!)

Dario at Cosmic Campervans took us right through from "dumb initial phone call" to full converted brand new van. Right from the outset, and an offer to help put us in touch with someone who could source exactly the van we wanted, his attention to detail was apparent. This was only reinforced as he and his staff worked on the conversion through all the difficulties of short stock and companies on short hours because of Covid. Every detail was checked and double checked with us, even things we would ourselves never have thought of. In the event, after conversion, we had a couple of small issues with the van (very small issues). Dario was mortified it was not perfect, and ensured it was all sorted immediately. Cosmic Campervans attention to detail and customer service leaves nothing to be desired. I intend never to need another camper, but if I did, I know where I would go

Just picked up our T6 Highline from Dario. We are so pleased with what he and the team have done. We went for a daring Mallard floor with the teal Skyline scenic roof and it looks absolutely stunning. The quality of the workmanship is second to none and Dario was full of useful advice and knowledge throughout the process. He got us to think about some of the finer details we hadn’t considered and he was so right. Darius was totally professional and we were at ease leaving our precious van in his capable hands. We wanted a converter to start off our van build, firstly we wanted a pop top fitting to get us under way. We looked around a few company's and a few different roofs locally and weren't overly impressed at some of the work we saw. I got in touch with Dario at Cosmic from a recommendation and from the initial phonecall he stood out from the rest!

After visiting his workshop we were sold. First impressions the place was immaculate which to me says alot about the company in itself. And Dario showed us round some of his current work. Dario's eye for detail was obvious immediately. After that visit our mind was made up and after a couple of minutes our decision was made and we got the van booked in for a Skyline Aurora roof.

Dario couldn't be more helpful if he tried. I well and truly mithered him in the few weeks between booking and our van going into his workshop and carried on right the way through until it was finished! (sorry Dario).... But he answered every single message/call with no problems at all, even late at night! He literally couldn't have helped us any more! Nothing was ever too much trouble and he kept us updated with plenty of photos after every step.

Anyway we couldn't be happier with our van since getting it back!

Dario's work is spot on and we will definitely taking it back to Cosmic for more work in the near future!

I guess like many people, we started the journey to create our perfect campervan with zero knowledge, looking for help and inspiration on the internet. We looked at buying a pre-converted camper from a forecourt seller, but quickly realized most were just salesmen knocking out cheap “one size fits all” conversions – we knew we could do better than that. Instead we decided to go with a custom conversion, we knew it would cost more than a forecourt job, but we were more interested high quality and the freedom to select what we wanted. We phoned many custom converters to get an idea of costs and options. We found most converters friendly and helpful, but Dario at Cosmic stood out as head and shoulders above the others in terms of his willingness to spend time with us, share his experience and offer advice on the bewildering array of options available. Even though we had not committed at that point, Dario could not have been more helpful. He is genuinely passionate about what he does, and that comes across in his entire approach. He only works with suppliers (e.g. furniture and so forth), which he knows and can vouch for the quality of, which massively reduces the risk in a venture such as this. A quick check of the online reviews (which are all fab), and that was it, decision made – we were going with Dario and Cosmic!We are so, so glad we picked Dario and Cosmic. As well as the amazing advice (even outside of working hours via WhatsApp), the quality of workmanship is just insanely good, with obsessive attention to detail. Even all the bits you cant see (wiring behind units, around pop top etc.) are all approached with the same quality and professionalism, just as you would do it yourself if you had the skill – no corner cutting! We were kept up to date throughout the entire process with photos, and we even a trip up to Cosmic mid-build to see progress first hand. That was a real eye opener, all wiring running in trunking and properly secured, any metal cuts properly painted and sealed etc. a really reassuring visit. I was recommended to CosmicCampervans by a mutual friend of Dario. I had two or three other companies who I was in contact with but after talking about my needs with Dario I left feeling very happy to let the guys at Cosmic do the work for me. (and pleasantly surprise at the costs).
During the work process Dario always kept me in the loop with photos on whatsapp and several visits to discuss progress on site. I always left happy with the courteous reception and knowledge the guys (thanks Roger) were doing everything to make my van right.

Just picked my t6 up from cosmic campervans. Had new skyline pop top fitted. Carpet lining and spotlights fitted. (WOW). The service and workmanship is a1. 4 day turn around as agreed from the start. I've had my van now for five years,already converted but was just missing a pop top,Dario of Cosmic Campers came to the rescue and fitted a skyline Roof with scenic canvas.
He had to navigate around the previous conversion and re jig the units, he's made a brilliant job and kept me informed through out the process,I'm more than happy with the result and can't wait to get to France this year.

We've had our T5 for five years and were never happy with the second rate pop up roof that it had on it. So this year I contacted Dario following a recommendation from a previous customer of his who's van I had seen on social media. Dario was completely honest with me about the fact that he hadn't dealt with anything like our van roof before, and that it could be a tricky job to cut out what was left of the roof and replace the pop top that was already in place.... But he was willing to take on the challenge and we are really happy with the result! The work was carried out to a very high standard, he kept us informed all the way through, and he completed it within the estimated time. And most importantly of all - it looks ace! So thanks Dario � I love my van even more now �

After reading Cosmic Campervans reviews on line and visiting Dario’s workshop, we recently took delivery of a 2006 VW T5 Transporter that Dario had converted to a Campervan complete with skyline pop top. (It is our first venture into the world of Campervans). Dario kept us up to date with the finishing of the conversion and was very helpful when we had questions before the collection. Had my Skyline roof fitted last year by an absolute Moron! There were many unfinished jobs with the roof. I contacted Skyline and they were more than helpful and put me in contact with Dario at Cosmic.

Dario contacted me straight away and booked me in. He completed all the jobs free of charge to finally finish the work on the roof. I can’t thank him and Skyline enough, both top class!
